Creating a Ria account online is easy.

1. Go to https://www.riamoneytransfer.com/

2. Click on Register in the upper-right corner.

3. Choose your country of residence.

4. Enter your phone number.

5. Enter the security code sent to your phone number.

6. Create your password.

7. Enter your first and last name, date of birth, and email address (in some cases, we may also ask you for: country of birth, nationality, occupation, and valid official identification).

8. Opt in to receive marketing messages from Ria.

9. Enter your address. That's it!

To send money online with Ria, you need the following information:

• Recipient's information: Full name (as they appear on the recipient's official ID), address, and phone number. If you're transferring to a bank account, you'll also need the account number and the name of the bank.

• Amount you want to send: you can use the exchange rate calculator on the Ria website or mobile app to confirm the amount before sending.

• Payment details: If this is your first transfer with Ria, we recommend having your credit or debit card handy to enter your payment details. If you're on the Ria app, you can save your card information to transfer money even faster next time.

Your payment method, where you're sending money from, the day and time of the week, and potential security checks can affect the time it takes to send money online.

Here are the most common times:

• Card payment: approximately 15 minutes.

• Bank transfer: up to 4 business days.

To send money online to a bank account, simply log in to your Ria account, select bank account as the delivery method, and enter the recipient's information:

• Full name of the person you are sending to.

• Bank account number or the card number you’re sending to. 

• Bank name that you are sending to. 

Yes, Ria charges a small, upfront fee that depends on several factors, including: payment method, delivery method, send country, destination, and transfer amount.

Card payments are typically faster but may cost more, while bank transfers tend to have lower fees.

Denmark: 65,000 DKK per transfer

UK: £4,999 a day per month

Spain: €5,000 per transfer, up to maximum of €25,000 every 365 days

Sweden: 100,000 SEK per transfer

Switzerland: 1,000 CHF per transfer, up to a maximum of 1,000 CHF every 30 days

Norway: 100,000 NOK per transfer

Rest of Europe*: €10,000 per transfer, up to a maximum of €25,000 every 365 days

USA: For cash-funded transfers: USD $495.00 per transfer. For all other payments methods: USD $14,999.99 every 30 days*

Australia: AUD $20,000 a day

Malaysia: RM 50,000 a day 

Canada: CAD $3,000 a day

Chile: 3,500,000 CLP per transfer, up to 10,000 USD per month

You can change the recipient's first or last name, as long as the transfer has not been paid out yet.

3. On the transfer details screen, click Modify

4. Enter the recipient's name exactly as it is shown on their ID

5. Click Save

If you need to change other transfer details like the payout location, payout method, or payment amount, please cancel the current transfer and rebook it with the correct information.

Track your money transfer anytime with Ria’s Track a Transfer tool. Just enter the PIN or Order Number. Both senders and recipients can use it.

No—if you're in Chile, you can use your bank account, credit card, debit card, cash, Fintoc or Sencillito to pay for your transfer. Most other countries allow you to use credit card or debit card as your payment method.

Yes, you can use a credit card to send an online money transfer. To add a credit card as a payment method, follow these steps on Ria's website:

1. Choose Credit Card under How will you pay.

2. Select or add a recipient and add their information.

3. Select a card or click Add. If a security confirmation follows, complete it.

4. Review the transfer details before you send the money. Then, click Confirm.

While this payment option usually has a slightly higher fee, the recipient will typically receive the money often within minutes.

Yes. In addition to a credit card, you can use a debit card to send an online money transfer. To add a debit card as a payment method, follow these steps on Ria's website:

1. Choose Debit Card under How will you pay.

2. Select or add a recipient and add their information.

3. Select a card or click Add. If a security confirmation follows, complete it.

4. Review the transfer details, and then click Confirm.

Just like with a credit card, this payment option may have a slightly higher fee, but the recipient will receive the money typically within minutes.
